Mei runs this private teaching service and is responsible for the processing of your data. Technical support and hosting are provided on her behalf. You can contact Mei about privacy using the address below.
To manage your account and lessons, we process your email address, display name, language, time zone, requests and feedback. Private feedback is not published and is intended for Mei; necessary technical access by administrators remains possible. Reviews are published only when you explicitly choose, using the name you provide. You can withdraw a public review in your account.
Website emails are sent through Infomaniak. We use Google for scheduling and online lessons. Contact us to request access to or deletion of your data.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address to create your account or sign you in.
We process the information needed to handle your requests and provide the agreed lessons. Protecting accounts and the website is in our legitimate interest. Public reviews are based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time for the future.
We keep your information for as long as it is needed for your account, lessons and related support. When you request deletion, we also review messages and backup copies. Some information may still be needed to meet legal obligations or address specific outstanding claims.
The website is hosted in Switzerland. Mei manages lessons from Italy. Mei and technical support use your information and messages to provide lessons and related support. We use Infomaniak and Google for these purposes. Google may also process data in other countries, including the United States.
We use essential cookies for sign-in and security. With “Keep me signed in”, your sign-in lasts up to seven days and may be extended through active use. Your language preference stays in your device’s local storage until you change it or clear browser data; it is also saved in a cookie for up to one year. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data and, where applicable, restriction of processing, object to processing or request data portability. You can download your account data from your account. For other requests, write to info@lessonwithmei.com. We normally respond within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority, particularly the Italian Garante.
